Well, there’s not a lot to say about the flights home. It took 41 hours to get from my hostel door, to my hosue door in Toronto. It was a weird time, as I had 4 flights, 4 different time zones, 2 red-eye flights, etc, etc. I never really knew what was going on. I spent so long sitting around in airports, that it became a way of life.

So I finally made all the decisions on packing. Luckily, I was able to fit it into my large backpack on the first try.

I'm only bringing 2 shorts, 2 pants, 7 t-shirts, 1 nice shirt, and 7 pairs of underwear and socks, and a couple other things. Doesn't seem like much, but compared to some of the big canoe trips I've done, its a lot (i.e. 2 shirts, 1 short for 30 days)! And here I'll be able to wash them in a real washing machine, which will be a luxury.

I'm leaving in 48 hours, so the junk show has started. Trying to figure out what to take and what not to take is tough. Lots of decisions. Should I bring an IPOD, should I bring debit cards versus credit cards, how much clothes to bring, etc,. WIth the desire to do some hiking and bike touring, I'm debating which outdoor gear to bring. This adds a bunch of extra problems!

Oh well, soon I'll be on a plane heading to fiji, and none of these decisions will matter anymore.
